Website design

Look like the business customers should choose.

A weak website makes a strong business look small. Most people judge you on a phone screen before they ever speak to you, so that is what we build for. And if your website is not the thing holding the business back, we will say so rather than sell you one.

£0 UPFRONT £39 A MONTH
£0 upfront for a standard Meeri system

No VAT to add — Meeri Systems Ltd is not VAT registered. A website on its own, an app on its own, or the two together — it is one £39 a month, not two. The £39 a month and any third-party costs are confirmed in writing before work starts. A fixed 20p transaction fee applies only when a customer's payment is successfully processed through a Meeri payment system. A website that takes no payments never sees it.

What a standard Meeri system is

Built from what we already have.
Set up for you.

This is the full list, so nobody has to guess what the price covers. Standard is the mainstream functionality the Meeri platform is built to provide, set up for your business. Work that is genuinely specific to one business is quoted separately.

Your website

standard website build at no upfront charge · up to four standard commercial pages · the legal pages and the pages the app stores require, which sit outside the four · responsive design · client branding and logo placement · content sections · enquiry and contact functionality · standard search foundation · basic technical search work · installable home-screen capability where appropriate.

Your app, if your business needs one

branded iPhone application · branded Android application · App Store submission handling · Google Play submission handling · normal store listing assets — title, description, category, screenshots, icon, supporting graphics, store metadata, privacy and support information · standard app maintenance · normal standard updates. The Apple and Google developer accounts are opened and controlled by you, under the account type and eligibility rules that apply to your business. You pay their account fees directly to Apple and Google. See business apps

Booking

service selection · standard availability · date and time from real availability · standard staff selection · simple resource selection · customer information · normal confirmation · standard deposit or full payment · standard customer rescheduling · standard customer cancellation · customer booking history · merchant booking management · standard notifications.

Ordering and payments

products and menu · categories · options · simple variants · quantities · basket · checkout · collection · straightforward delivery where supported · payment · customer confirmation · merchant notification · order history · merchant order management. supported payment-provider integration · normal full payment · normal deposit capability · Meeri transaction-fee routing where applicable.

Customer accounts and notifications

profile · upcoming bookings · booking history · orders · order history · receipts · relevant preferences. transactional email to customer and business · normal push notification capability. Text messages are possible but carry an outside per-message cost, so they are not unlimited inside the monthly.

Running it

platform access · hosting · standard infrastructure · care · maintenance · standard technical support · normal security and platform updates. You can send a support request at any time. Standard support is handled Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. UK time, excluding UK bank holidays. We aim to respond within one business day. The service runs on a 30-day rolling notice basis. Either side can give 30 calendar days' written notice to end it, and the service and fees continue through the notice period.

What is not standard

Anything outside the Standard scope: unusual scheduling or dispatch rules, connections to outside systems we do not already support, moving data out of an old system, custom calculations, hardware, or workflows a regulator requires. None of that is refused. It is agreed and priced separately in writing before work starts, so you decide with the number in front of you. Third-party costs — a domain, the app store accounts, your payment provider's own processing fees — are paid by you, and we tell you what they are before you commit.

Included where it fits

A website your regulars can
keep on their phone.

It is not in the App Store and it is not pretending to be. It is your website, made easier to come back to.

Your website can be made so a customer saves it to their phone's home screen and opens it like an app — full screen, no browser bar, straight to your booking page or your menu. For a lot of businesses that is all that is needed. Where it is not, a real app in the stores is a different piece of work, and it is part of the same monthly.

What business owners ask

Frequently asked
questions.

How much does a website cost?

Nothing to start, then £39 a month. The build is included in the monthly rather than charged separately up front, as long as what you need fits the standard Meeri system set out on this page. No VAT to add — Meeri Systems Ltd is not VAT registered.

What does £0 upfront mean?

No build fee for a standard Meeri system. You start paying £39 a month and the build is part of that. It does not mean everything Meeri could possibly build is free to start. Work outside the Standard scope — genuinely client-specific engineering, unusual integrations, moving data out of an old system — is agreed and priced separately in writing before work starts. If what you want falls outside, we tell you at the quote stage, not afterwards.

What's included for £39 a month?

Your standard Meeri system built and launched — a website, an app, or both, whichever fits your business. Hosting, security and uptime checks. Standard care, including sensible small routine changes such as opening hours, a phone number or a short text correction. Standard online booking where your business uses it. And technical groundwork to help search engines and AI systems discover and understand your public pages. Larger content work, redesigns and new functionality sit outside standard care and are quoted separately. Third-party costs — a domain, an app store account, a payment provider's own processing fees — are paid by you, and we tell you what they are before you commit to them.

Is online booking included?

Yes, where your business uses Meeri's standard booking system. Customers pick a service and a time, give their details, pay where that applies, and get a confirmation. You are not charged a separate monthly fee for it on top of the £39. Some businesses need something the standard system does not do — unusual scheduling, dispatch, allocation rules, or a booking process joined to an outside system. That is different work, and we price it separately in writing before anything starts. See online booking

How many pages do I get?

Up to 4 standard commercial pages — for most businesses that is something like home, about, services and contact, but the exact four depend on what you do and are agreed in writing before work starts. Privacy, terms, cookies and the pages the app stores require do not count towards the four. Extra standard pages are £50 one-off each.

Do I own my website?

Your domain, your business accounts, the content you give us and your customer data are yours, and they stay yours. Meeri's own software and components are licensed to you while the service is running. Before launch we agree in writing what happens if the service ends — how you get your data out, who it goes to, and what happens to enquiries after the system is switched off.

What happens if I cancel?

The service runs on a 30-day rolling notice basis. Either side can give 30 calendar days' written notice to end it. The service and the applicable fees continue during the notice period, and when that period ends, access to the Meeri infrastructure ends in line with the agreement. What you keep is what you own: your domain, your accounts, your content and your data. What stops is the part you were paying for — the system behind the website runs on Meeri's infrastructure, so when the service ends it stops working. We say this again in writing before you sign, because it is the kind of thing nobody should find out afterwards. Read the cancellation policy
